I have a bit of a bad habit when it comes to assessment books. Every time I buy one, it gives me a hopeful feeling and lifts my mood. But the reality is, I often do not have the discipline to get my daughter to work on them, and of course, she does not have the discipline to do them on her own either. We managed to complete some, mostly during her lower primary years when time was more plentiful. As she moved into upper primary, she got busier, and I grew lazier. Over time, I accumulated piles of untouched assessment books that I eventually gave away.

Still, I cannot deny that I enjoy browsing and searching for good assessment books. Even now that she has graduated from primary school, I still find joy in flipping through them. It is something that, for reasons I cannot quite explain, simply makes me feel good.

Here are some assessment books that I personally like or have heard good reviews about (updating in progress). If you are searching for assessment books, perhaps they can help you to shortlist some.
