This package consists of 5 practices, each practice consists of 7 passages and 10 questions.  First 2 sets are thoughtfully broken down into smaller parts for practice, and 3 sets designed like an actual exam.

Suitable for P5 & P6 students.

The practices are arranged in the order of difficulty. I have tried all the questions myself and find some questions really tricky. Practice 5 is the hardest and you really have to listen and consider each option carefully. I appreciate how the questions are designed and believe with more practice, students can improve on the listening skills and get the difficult questions right.

I have signed J up for the Pitaya prelim zoom classes for her PSLE revision. 😍  I think it's really beneficial to have teacher to go through prelim papers. 


The zoom is conducted by very experienced teachers and I think the fee is really reasonable. I had thought of just letting J do the papers herself but sometimes we lack the discipline to do them. I'm worried we may not achieve anything by the end of June 🤣


Having a live zoom class will ensure that she actually sits down and be guided through the papers. I'm so looking forward to the lessons.

Secondary School Open House 2024 April/May 2024

INFORMATION ACCURATE AS AT 30 APRIL 2024. 



Some secondary schools are having open house in April-May. These open house are mainly for students who are considering to apply via DSA - but anyone can attend. I would suggest parents bring your kids to the open house this round if you are interested in the school, because some of the schools will only conduct onsite open house once, and they do e-open house during November/December. 


There will be another round of secondary school open house in November-December by many more schools.

He was the Chief Presiding Examiner (CPE) for PSLE for more than 10 years and the Assistant Supervisor for Marking (ASM) of Mathematics (6 years) and Foundation Mathematics (1 year).


My daughter enjoys watching the lessons because each topic is divided into a few short lessons so that she doesn't feel overwhelmed by the new information.


Side track: I recently bought a portable projector just so she can watch the Pitaya lessons in her room, projected onto the wall like watching movie 😂 She's enjoying the novelty LOL.


Another thing that keeps her wanting to watch more is that the reward for watching each lesson is 100 points! (Yay to toys redemption!) She really love seeing her points going up and climbing the leaderboard. 😂

Each topic is divided into short digestible lessons so that students will not get tired or bored watching.





Click on the "Download" and you will get the pdf of the tutorial for the class. 

"Practice" provides more questions to practice for the topic.




One thing I like about the video lesson is that at times, the question will pop up for student to answer. This creates more engagement during the lesson.

Secondary School Open House November 2023




IMPORTANT: The information is gathered and re-arrange from all secondary schools' websites and School Bag website. The list below is arranged according to dates, so that as parents, it is easier for us to plan (especially if we are school-hopping within the short few hours on that day).  


While I am still monitoring and updating the list to reflect the details as accurately as possible, the list may not be the most up-to-date. The schools are still finalising the date and time, some changing dates, some changing time, and the most up-to-date information will always be from the respective school's own official website.

I urge you to double-check the date/time of the schools of your interest from their own official website nearer to date. 


I've noticed that my compiled information has been replicated in image format and is being shared within parenting groups. While I appreciate the good intentions behind this, I kindly request that you avoid converting the list into images and circulating it. My primary concern is that the information may become outdated, potentially causing parents to make unnecessary trips or miss valuable opportunities if they rely on incorrect date/time. If you feel it's necessary to share it as an image, please make sure to include a note in the image indicating that parents should double-check with the schools' website to ensure they have access to the most up-to-date and accurate information. [REVIEW] Pitaya - FREE!! Primary School Top Schools Test Papers Online Platform

[Wrong Question] records all the past wrong questions that you had done on the platform, for easy reviewing. I LOVE this feature the most! 



[Favourites] is like bookmark. It allows you to "star" whichever questions you encountered along the way, and they are all stored under this section.


For the questions at [Test Center], you can further filter them according to their topics. Lovely!







[Leaderboard] This is my daughter's favourite... kids are so competitive 😂



[Redeem] They even have redemption?! Hmm.. I'm not sure, a bit paiseh to redeem  when I'm not even paying anything. 😅 but my girl is so motivated to gain points and wanting to redeem something when she saves enough.
